Terms of service
Last updated 28 October 2026
These terms are the agreement between you and Whotrack (“we”) for using Whotrack. By creating an account you agree to them. If you use Whotrack for a company, you agree for that company.
What Whotrack does
Whotrack records visits to your website and labels each one human, bot or unknown, with the evidence behind the label. A label is an inference from that evidence and can be wrong: a person can look automated, and a bot can imitate a person. Whotrack labels traffic; it does not block it. We can’t promise any particular result for your website or your advertising.
Accounts
You sign in with a link sent to your email address, so keep that mailbox safe: anyone who can read it can sign in as you. You are responsible for what happens under your account. Add only websites that are yours or that you have permission to measure.
Plans, trial and billing
Every plan starts with a 7-day trial. A card is required, and the first charge is on day 7 unless you cancel.
Plans are billed monthly and renew until you cancel. Creem takes the payments, on its own checkout page. Each plan’s price, number of websites and monthly events, and what happens when you go past the events, are on the pricing page. Cancelling and refunds follow our refunds and cancellation policy.
Acceptable use
When you use Whotrack, you agree to:
- give the visitors to your websites, and the people you send tracked emails to, the notices your law requires, and get any consent it requires;
- keep personal data out of event names, event properties, page addresses and page titles. Whotrack drops properties with common sensitive names, such as email or phone, but it can’t recognise every kind;
- not overload, probe or try to break the service, or get around its limits;
- not use Whotrack to break the law or anyone else’s rights.
We may suspend access that breaks these rules.
Your data
The data Whotrack records for your websites is yours. We process it only to run Whotrack for you, as our privacy policy describes. You can export a website’s visits as CSV and delete your data at any time; the data deletion page explains how.
Changes to the service
We may change or remove features. Features marked Coming soon are not available yet, and we don’t promise a date for them.
Liability
Whotrack is provided as it is. As far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses, such as lost profits, lost business or the cost of decisions made from Whotrack’s labels, and our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms takes away rights you have by law as a consumer.
Ending
You can stop using Whotrack at any time: cancel your plan, or delete your account, which cancels the plan immediately and deletes your data. When a plan ends, Whotrack stops storing new visits for your websites, and what it already recorded stays until you delete it. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms. If we close your account without such a reason, we refund any time you have paid for and not used.
Changes to these terms
If we change these terms in a way that matters, we post the new version here with a new date and email you before it takes effect.
